We've done the research for you in this episode all about getting a 2nd dog! Carly shares her experience of getting her 2nd dog, Alby, four months ago. We discuss when she knew she was ready for another dog, how to find the right match, and changes she made in her home over the first three months of having a new dog.
Steps we cover:
- Define your motivations.
- Consider all the factors (e.g. do you have the time, money, space, etc)
- Decide what you're looking for in a new dog (age, breed, energy level, etc)
- Introducing the new dog to your current dog.
- Alter your home habits to allow for a new dog in the household.
